"Excuse me mam?" The oddly dressed women jumped when I tapped her bare shoulder.
"What?!"she asked anxiously.
"Um... I just wondered if you dropped this." I held up a thin silk shawl. She stared at me blankly, then smiled nervously.
"Yes! I guess that is mine!"She slowly took the slip of fabric from my hand. Then she shifted her gaze again to the baggage carrier. A small, brown paper parcel was just passing. She gave a small gasp, and ran after it, her skirt billowing behind her. It was just about to disappear into the little door at the end of the carrier, when I grabbed it. She stopped short, and looked at me with anticipation and terror in her eyes as I inspected the package, as it was very valuable, and I would break it. I smiled and offered to to her. She considered me, then reached for it. Once it was safely in her arms, she smiled and slipped something into my hand. She hurried away, while I was rooted to the spot, with a puzzled expression plastered onto my face.
I looked down at was in my hand. My breath caught in my throat, and my eyes opened wide. Without a second glance, I forced it into my already stuffed pocket, hoping nobody had seen. Unfortunately, someone had, a dark skinned man advanced towards me. I ran through the hordes of people to the elevators. Forgetting about my baggage, I ran in and pushed the button that lead to the parking lot.
The doors opened, and there was the man, with a grim expression on his face. I tried to run, but he caught me, dragging me, kicking and screaming, to a dark maroon vehicle. I resisted, but he was stronger, and sat me into one of the leather bound seats. He tried to reach into my pocket, but I bit his hand. He gritted his teeth, and glared at me. Suddenly he pushed me out of the car, jumped into the driver seat, and drove off. I stared after him with my moth hanging open.
